'23' is a testament to my university years, the years of young adolescence - years of self-discovery, perseverance, falling in (and out) of love, and confusion. Good years. Enjoy these two tracks about reflection, knowing where you come from, anger and anxiety.

The former: reflection and knowing where you came from, describes the first track "Be With Me". A ballad that tells the story of a loved one from another time, a time of war and the apocalyptic anxieties that come with it. Our protagonist was in love with another, and trough the horrors of being stuck on the ground while the sky is falling all around you, "Be With Me' is her love letter to her lover expressing that their love is so strong that it can and will persevere even in the midst of war.

'Heat Waves and Flooding Streets', a song that has been praised by the Nashville Songwriters' Association for it's protest-like themes about climate change, is a charging tune presented as an acoustic melody about building social anxieties about climate change and a lack of social change in the midst of a global crisis.
